I really enjoyed this quick and easy read. Although it is full of practical advice on how to raise a large family, Lyette's personality and spunk keep it from coming off as "preachy". It is a good balance of "big picture" parenting- strategies to identify and develop your child's strengths to help them achieve their potential, and tips on how to manage day to day life within a busy household. I am grateful to the Reback family for sharing their story. It is great to see a Christian homeschooling family showing you don't have to be clad in a shapeless prairie dress and not have any fun in life to be a faithful Christian. I hope this is the first of more to come from the Rebacks. This is a fun and encouraging book for any parent looking for advice on how to raise good people in today's world.Product details

Wonderful Read! Great advice from a mother in the trenches who has taken the time to share her wisdom. Her passion for parenting leads by example that I believe has life changing impact on the family. I feel privileged to have read the book and have the opportunity to glean from her mothering of 15 kids!
I was so challenged & encouraged by this book. Lyette is so down to earth and full of practical advice. Her writing style is so interesting & easy to follow too. (I didn't want to put the book down!) She shows you how to love your children, challenge them to be the best that they can be, and teach them to have a servant's heart. She shares real life examples from her experiences of raising 15 kids and she has some great stories and wonderful advice. I highly recommend this book!
Although I'm not a mother, I found this book to be a quick, inspiring and motivating read. Lyette, has an easy way of telling stories to illustrate what it means to raise confident, healthy children with purpose and vision. I have no doubt that the Reback children will grow up to be many great human beings. Not having any children of my own, there are still a great many lessons that can be gathered from Lyette Reback and her family in this book.
This book is an easy read. However, I was hoping for a little more insight and details especially w the older kids. But overall it was ok.
As a mom if 3 boys, this book is a lifesaver. You can feel her joy for her kids coming through her words!
