A Lady Unrivaled, is a shining gem in the series! I was expecting this novel to be a good read, but I was in no way expecting to love it like I did! White captured my interest early on and held it all the way through.
Ella, is quiet simply, just delightful! This is one character you have no trouble loving; she is happy, playful, hopeful and wise. I like that she was a strong female lead but not in a showy way. Her strength comes through in her character; her ability to look beyond, to trust and have faith even when others doubt or circumstances are more than what they seem. She stands firm and holds to her convictions.
Seeing Cayton's transformation and spiritual growth was another gem in this tale! I really enjoyed this pair. Their banter and interactions were well written and very engaging. I chuckled several times and definitely had a grin upon my face.
The Fire Eyes mystery and suspense finally comes to ahead and is wrapped up well. White brings previous characters from Book 1 & 2 back, and finishes off both this novel and series in a satisfying and well thought out way. I can highly recommend this one!

When a friend recommended this series to me, I was eager to try it. I liked the first book, loved the second book, and didn't quite believe my friend when she said the third book was even better than the second...but she was right. I loved it! Ella is just delightful, and I loved seeing Cayton's transformation. other characters were also fascinating...although some were fascinating in a creepy sort of way. Can't wait to read more by Roseanne White!
I thought this was the best book in the series. It could be read as a stand alone but a person would miss parts of the mystery surrounding the diamonds so I recommend reading the first two books. All of the characters are well rounded and relatable, they are also realistic. The book was a page turner the kept me engaged the whole way through. Very well done.
This third novel in the Ladies of the Manor Book concludes the drama and tension surrounding the 'Fire Eyes' diamonds. Typical of all three novels in this series, Roseanna White takes us back to Regency England, and is convincing, given she is an American writer trying her hand at English Regency. Lovers of Austen will enjoy this series, even though Ella (in #3) and Brooke in (#1) are not quite regency in their lady like behaviour.
In my opinion, Roseanna White knocked it out of the park when she penned A Lady Unrivaled. While I enjoyed the previous books in this series, I adored this one! Lady Ella was one of the most delightful,unforgettable characters I've met in my reading career, and White's role of supporting characters complemented each other and the story perfectly. With bits of humor, tragedy, mystery, romance, and drama, the tale flowed along seamlessly to the very end. I'm left with the feeling that I want to read the series again...very soon!
I enjoyed this book just as much as the others! I think The Reluctant Duchess was still my favorite by a hair, but they are all excellent. The characters are so well done, and I love Ella's chipper attitude and Cayton's struggle with guilt.

Things I especially love about this series is that each book is woven together tighter than a lot of Christian fiction series tend to be. Yes, each book could stand alone, though the part with the Fire Eyes might be a bit confusing to someone who hasn't read all the books. Yet, each book is also part of one mystery, and the characters from each book show up frequently in each other's books.
This was a great ending to the series! After the serious relationship between the MC's in book 2, Ella and Cayton were a breath of fresh air. Ella was such a fun character and Cayton knew exactly how to banter with her. Their scenes together were such a delight. The whole mystery/danger of the Fire Eyes is concluded in this story. You could follow it without having read the previous books but I'd recommend reading the series in order to get the full understanding of the Fire Eyes mystery. I have to admit I was unsure about the scenes with the Russian Kira as I kept wanting to get back to Ella and Cayton but I can see how her story line added to the mystery. I was happy to see all of the MCs from the previous books, especially Brooke! I listened to this as an audiobook and really enjoyed the narrator. She was great with all of the different accents. Wonderful way to end this series!
This is the last book of a series of three. It did not disappoint. The mystery of the red diamonds is brought to a close. This book can be read independently of the others, but it is more fun to start with the first one. The heroine in this book falls in love with and redeems a rascal from the other two. These books do not have explicit sex scenes which is a plus for me as I do not read those types of books. Some of you may appreciate that.
